Mary Lou McDonald MEP
Dublin's Voice in Europe
Re-elect Mary Lou McDonald
The Lisbon Treaty referendum heightened voters’ awareness of just how much Europe influences our daily lives. Sometimes these decisions work for the country but far too often they do not. This can change. Your voice can be heard.Since being elected by the people of Dublin to Europe in 2004 Mary Lou has fought to ensure the rights of workers are protected, in 2006 being shortlisted as 'MEP of the Year' for her work on workers rights. She has also been prominent on homelessness and in defense of public services. In 2008 Mary Lou led Sinn Féin's campaign against the unfair Lisbon Treaty. She stood up for Ireland’s interests in Europe. If you want this work to continue make sure YOUR voice is represented in the European parliament. Re-elect Mary Lou McDonald.
